is a universal companion that offers versatility of use due to its design. The self-supporting construction, which includes the vestibule, allows you to spend the night in places where fixation with pegs in the ground is not possible or necessary. The flat design favors camouflage in the forest or wild nature. The camouflage pattern on the outer tent traces back to the hexagon as a basic shape that is naturally found in plant and animal life. The Wechsel Pathfinder 1-person tent has been impressing its users for more than 25 years and it is hard to imagine Wechsel’s tent range without it. Now it is time to present the Wechsel classic in a new camouflage look.
Features & functions of the Wechsel Pathfinder E. tent
All guy points on the flysheet are reinforced with Power Triangles. Especially with the strong, less flexible polyester fabric with additional PU coating, it is helpful if the stress points are reinforced. Thus, the force does not attack selectively, but is distributed over a larger area.
The guylines are reflective. They are adjustable by means of the Linelock and, in addition, the Guylineflags ensure that the lines are clearly visible and always tidy.
The APEX ventilation flaps are located at the apex of the incoming wind. Here the wind creates an overpressure on the facing side and at the same time a negative pressure on the other side. In addition, the APEX ventilation flaps are integrated into seams in the design. They do not need to be specially braced and lie flat when closed due to Velcro. Annoying flapping in the wind is thus avoided.
The boom end tips and the corresponding boom channel inlets are color-coded. The color coding allows for quick and easy setup.
The tunnel tents have a rectangular cut and do not taper at the foot end. Especially with thick sleeping pads, a rectangular layout is handy so the pads don’t overlap at the foot end.
Double Loops allow for two different guy line options.
The inner tent is made of a breathable and water-repellent fabric that allows condensation drops not to penetrate the inside of the tent, but to bead up on the outside of the inner tent. The vents equipped with mosquito nets are located in the upper half of the inner tent. Thus, a good air exchange takes place without unpleasant drafts in the tent.
The connection between the inner and outer tent is solved in a practical and sustainable way. The rubber can be knotted tighter or easily replaced if necessary.
