Extremely durable, stable all-season dome tent designed specifically for use in tough weather and terrain conditions. A reliable, cold-weather model for demanding winter treks and overnight camping above the tree line that is also suitable for hikers thanks to its relatively light weight. Excellent ventilation options and all-mesh doors make it a good choice even in the tropics. Coupling the outer and inner tents makes setup easy. Thanks to three-arc construction, the tent is freestanding, so it can be easily moved around until the optimal pitching location is found. The pole channels are sized so that a second set of poles (accessories) can be used in case of strong winds and lots of snow on the tent roof. Extra large ground loops allow the tent to be anchored in the snow using skis or poles. All zipper handles and ropes are designed to be easy to grip even with thick winter gloves. Reflective thread in the guy lines and additional reflectors on the vents and doors make the tent highly visible in the dark. The extra long and wide pegs are also suitable for difficult terrain. Two spacious vestibules and the generous ceiling height provide comfort.

The two-entrance design allows you to use the entrance on the downwind side during storms. A removable mesh shelf on the inner tent ceiling creates practical storage space for gear. Large vents at various heights provide excellent, individually variable ventilation options. All openings are covered with fine mesh and can also be closed from the outside with tent material, which prevents snow or sand from entering. In warm weather, the doors can be fixed half-open to maximize air circulation without letting rain into the inner tent – an auto-stop feature prevents wind from pushing the zipper open. Mosquito netting on the flysheet doors keeps the vestibule free of most insects – a detail that’s as useful on summer trips in Scandinavia as it is in the tropics. The fly is made from Fjällräven’s new high-performance TripleRip nylon. An innovative construction of two different fabric strengths ensures optimum robustness: 40-denier on top and 70-denier reinforcements on the more heavily used tent floor. Just like all other Fjällräven tents, Keb Dome 2 is made entirely without PVC and toxic flame retardants. The impregnation is fluorocarbon-free.
